Fundraising Trivia Nights


Standard Format for Fundraising Trivia Nights

6:00pm: Quizmaster arrives at venue. Sets up equipment. Confers with client re prizes and format
7:30pm: Quizmaster hands out blank answer sheets and first round. Famous faces or similar
7:45pm: Client welcomes players and introduces quizmaster
7:50pm: Quizmaster announces rules, housekeeping matters, fundraisers and format.

8:00pm: Round Two - General Knowledge - Read Out By Quizmaster

Teams swap answer sheets and correct to announced answers
Swap back and check. Sheets collected and scores compiled on Master Scoresheet held by committee member. Scores announced and then recorded by each team on sheets provided.

8:15pm: Game - Sale Of The Century or similar. Volunteers from each table compete to win points and modest prize for their team.
8:25pm: Round Three - TV Show Themes - Audio Tape
8:40pm: Game - Name That Tune - CD based knockout game where volunteers try to name the song tile or artist of songs played by quizmaster. Prize/points.
8:50pm: Round Four - Name The Movie - Audio or Video.

9:00pm: Fundraiser - True or False. Process of elimination activity where last player standing wins major prize and points. Players pay to enter and can choose to pay to stay in if eliminated. Committee assists in collecting money.

9:20pm: Correct Round One (Famous Faces) from start of night.

9:30pm: Break. Supper. Conduct Nearest The Pin Fundraiser - players toss gold coins at a quality bottle of spirits with the closest at end of break winning the bottle and points for the team. Committee assists in collecting money.

9:45pm: Round Five - Observation Round (Video or audio). Audio or video tape played and teams asked questions about what they've just seen and/or heard.
10:00pm: Game - Blow Up the Balloon/Golf Ball/Musical Chairs or similar. Prize/Points
ALTERNATIVE - Live Auction
10:20pm: Round Six - Sport - Read Out or Video Questions.

10:30pm: Fundraiser - Four Corners. Process of elimination activity where last player standing wins major prize and points. Players pay to enter and can choose to pay to stay in if eliminated. Can also be run for entry fee only and no buyback. Committee assists in collecting money.

10:50pm: Round Seven - Music - Name The Song Title and artist/Next Line of the Song.
11:10pm: Finalise fundraisers - raffle, lucky $100 note, silent auctions.
11:20pm: Announce winners. Make Awards. Thank supporters, players, committee and sponsors.
11:30pm: "Good Night"

Notes
1) Times are approximate only and may vary according to client's starting time, size of audience, length of fundraisers and games and extra breaks, etc.
2) Format is extremely flexible if client wishes to add/amend in any way. Large range of alternate subjects, activities and fundraisers available.
